Gljúfrasteinn – A museum and former home of Noble laurate Halldór Laxness and his wife Auður Sveinsdóttir Laxness. They built their house in 1945 and named it Gljúfrasteinn after a large rock that sits on the property. The story says that the rock could only be there because of men not nature, maybe it was put there by Egill Skallagrímsson from the Icelandic sagas. The rock was a true inspiration and a favorite of Halldór and Auður Laxness and because of that it seemed fitting to incorporate it into the identity on this school project.Researched his many books and their design and made a book highlighting the most interesting cover designs throughout the years Branding on nature wine for events at Gljúfrasteinn
